Cornwallis Hills is a quiet, family-oriented neighborhood within the town limits of Hillsborough. Downtown Historic Hillsborough is less than 10 minutes away, where you will find houses per-dating the Revolutionary War. Walking along the tree-lined streets of Historic Hillsborough you will find an array of quaint shops, well-known restaurants and pubs, as well as entertainment venues.

Hillsborough has a Farmers’ Market, Historical Museum, and monthly “Last Friday Celebrations”

Frequently, you will find music at one of the many locals on weekends. The Downtown area of Hillsborough is just minutes away from the area’s finest restaurants, shopping centers, schools, and the UNC Healthcare Campus.

Cornwallis Hills is conveniently located to all the quaint, small-town action yet tucked away in the trees just off Old 86. It is a neighborhood steeped in the Revolutionary pride of community, yet allowing privacy for each resident. Gatherings are held in the large community park throughout the year. The park is a source of connectivity for the residents to go play and/or relax. If the two acre park is too small, the Occoneechee State Park, with hiking trails, is within biking distance or a mere five minutes by car.

Explore the Riverwalk, a paved urban greenway along the Eno River that stretches nearly 2 miles from Dimmocks Mill Road/Gold Park through West Hillsborough and Downtown over to the Occoneechee Speedway property trails. More information Here
